That was delightful, Sarah. However, being hard of hearing (age and too much rock&roll is taking its toll), I would love it if you could share the words, so I could grasp the depth of the experience. Thank you, deeply. Many blessings! Lee Parmenter, NH
Thank you so much for singing your beautiful song of love—it truly melted my heart ❤️ ❤️❤️. I would love to know the lyrics because it would be such a gift to sing along with you in the morning before mediation😊
As i searched my email, for a response i am overdue to answer, this lands on me. THIS! I've just entered my just completed little seaside soul studio , and here i had my songs of dance and remembrance on my speaker. I stop the music and listen on speaker to Hugo, gazing at the ocean. I listen to Hugo sing his tone and this song spun from you to him. The sound and knowing from his little voice, which is actually BIG landed right in my heart. Please tell Hugo he is absolutely wise and knowing, because yes it helped me rise from my body and feel the tears of me-thank you Hugo. So full circle in this moment, because in the house that we built and raised our children was in the Okanagan. On the steps leading to our front door, i painted 'Peace is every step", inspired by Thich Nhat Hanh. I only mention this and the ocean, to let Hugo know it felt like his words echoed through the creeks, the rivers, the lakes, and made its way to the ocean. Sometimes i take a song to the water, and the seal pops his head, as if he hears. please tell Hugo I will share his song at the water. Thank you Sarah for sharing this sweetness.
The purity and innocence of a babe’s heart untainted by the world— poised in awareness— sharper than steel and softer than silk, blessed homage to magnificent life. What purpose to be served yet unknown, thereby blessed with nobility of heart and mind, should he sever the bondage of ignorance— and bring the strength of love, gentleness, compassion, harmony and peace to all he encounters. Amen
Sarah, dear one... I cannot voice the depth of tenderness I experience listening to Hugo and you 'dance' in song together, sharing such depth and wisdom, and with he in such a tiny, precious body at 6. Magical. You referred to your tears in one of your past Folding In, as if to excuse it, though at the same time honoring our process and how tears are all a part of it.. but, oh dear, sweet one, please never feel the need to address tears other than it being our "voices" emerging from the depths of our being/soul. I don't know when I have not had tears listening to your sharings, burning rising in my eyes from what feels like "far away", leaving me thankful for my somatic response. I am profoundly thankful to you every time, as I greet my tears with "Oh, there she is", and embrace her, hold her, and forever remind myself that, per your words, "I carry my home in the marrow of my bones". Hmmm, sigh... so thankful dear one. (another note to let you know that I sent a "letter" introducing myself to you in one of your posts under "feedback"... I'm curious if you ever got it? Veronica "V") Blessing to you Sarah ~ blessings. Gassho.
Any time someone expresses how touched they are by having tears, I feel a deep gratitude for the depth and authenticity of one's sharing of their 'truth'. I feel honored to be invited 'in' to the soul that is expressing itself on a level not typically released to others or in public. Tears validate our humanity. They are the most precious of ways to connect and share with each other. Sarah, I thank you for letting us all 'in' and to be ever so close as we navigate our existence together.
