What a gift Joanna’s words are for us … for me. I’ve been a climate spiritualist I suppose since my high school days. I’ve felt deep in my bones that God and Mother Earth were one, by honoring her, I honor the Creator of all.

My recent return to urban landscape proves to require more dedication to this love and reverence, the redwoods and open ocean no longer at my doorstep. Instead Hwy 5 will take me to beaches travelled to by many but empty of the vastness I encountered in my previous home. It’s a new opportunity to be even more present with more distraction to turn away from and deeper need for that love of “all the things”. Thank you for sharing, for writing, for giving and for believing that it matters. You too are a gift to this world.

I wasn't familiar with Joanna Macy. I surely am glad to know her now. Thank you, Sarah. I do despair for the health of our Mother. But, I must recall what is in my capacity to aide her and move from there.

A human who believes they are part of the whole is like a wave who believes it is not a part of the ocean. Beautiful perspectives here from Joanna. Thank you for sharing Sarah! Life is but an expression of joy, find joy and you find the meaning of life.

I Love her nerve and her call for not knowing what to come…buy doing my own work I will be more aware to what’s really going between us and Mother Earth. That’s were the healing takes place 🙏🏻❤️
