Illuminating the Path of Discernment:
A Reflective Exploration of Mind & Wisdom. A Blessing.
Making coffee this morning, I felt an old clunky memory walk through my mind. I felt shame and embarrassment, and then, in its wake, a small and gracious direction surfaced. “Feel it once in your mind, and then once from your wisdom.” I understood something could be experienced from two perspectives, one from the emotional spectre, and one from the discerning, compassionate, fluidity of our inborn wisdom. If I move slowly enough, I can feel through the unavoidable mind, and then give my life to my wisdom.
As simplistic as this might sound, the reminders, the signs, throughout my day really help me focus on the rhythm, the pressures, and my place within it. In this way, I avoid becoming lost in the flow. It is very easy to become enraptured by the limitations of the mind, and forget we also have this vast, wealthy, non-dual wisdom inside of us. Each is one thought away from the other.
Because I love you, and because we move forward wisely and empowered together, I am sharing this small but powerful insight I had while drinking my morning coffee.
