Being fully in our body tends to be the most challenging thing for us, especially when fear, panic, anxiety, grief, or despair run through us. We want nothing more than to get off the challenging ride we are being taken on. We cope by abandoning ourselves and rising up and out of the body that is our home— the very place where the sacred medicine resides. Tenderly, gently, slowly, we must befriend ourselves and arrive capable and able to withstand, endure and participate in the mystery of this life.
